In Human-Computer Interaction, plasticity denotes the ability of an interactive system to adapt itself to the constraints imposed by the context of use (user, platform, environment).
In this context, the objective of this research is to study and to model usability criteria and metrics for plasticity. Then, the second objective is to define patterns for adaptation to the context of use. Patterns allow, from the functional perspective, to specify the adaptation to carry out, and, from the non-functional perspective, to describe the observation and the control to give to the end user.
